We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Tractor Rig (UTR) Driver, also known as a Yard Goat or Hostler, for our Adelanto, California depot.
The UTR Driver plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our yard operations.

Essential Functions include the following:
Supports activities in the Adelanto yard by organizing chassis and trailers to ensure efficiency of space and ease of access for pick-up, delivery, and transfer of equipment Performs daily inspection of UTR, prior to use, to ensure the vehicle is functioning correctly and free from any damage or mechanical defects Regularly communicates with equipment control using two-way radio for authorizations, paperwork communication, and movement of or access to stored equipment Provides customer service to drivers entering the yard who may need assistance locating, accessing, or moving equipment Strictly adheres to all safety rules and regulations Maintains UTR in a clean and safe manner Follows all company policies, quality procedures and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Must possess a valid driver license and 3-year driving history that is acceptable to our auto insurance carrier Strong work ethic Deadline and detail oriented Ability to use logic and reasoning when making decisions Ability to understand work related forms and documents Ability to use computer and smart phone devices at an intermediate or higher level Ability to use 2-way radio Ability to work long hours and weekends Ability to work as part of a team Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with those in the Company and customers Ability to speak, read and write English
Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience driving UTR or other industrial powered vehicles, preferably within a transportation industry environment Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Physically demanding role including, but not limited to, lifting up to 35 pounds, sitting for extended periods of time, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing.
Requires using hands to climb into and out of vehicle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Work may be performed out of doors and subject to environmental conditions including heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.

00 per hour depending upon skill level and experience Payroll Workweek:
Monday thru Friday - 5:
00 AM to 1:
30 PM Workweek is typically Monday to Saturday, 5:
00 AM to 3:
30 PM Weekend availability is required Overtime, while not guaranteed, tends to be consistently required approximately nine (9) months out of twelve (12) each year
